Many products labeled “fragrance” can contain up to 200 undisclosed chemicals, including allergens and hormone disruptors. At Treo, we intentionally avoid them altogether. No scent, no secrets.

It’s an important distinction:

• Fragrance-free means no fragrance or masking agents whatsoever are added synthetic or natural.

• Unscented products may still contain fragrance chemicals but use masking agents to cover up their smell. That can still trigger reactions, especially for people with Multiple Chemical Sensitivities (MCS). Treo is proudly 100% fragrance-free with no scent, no cover-ups, no, compromises.

Treo was founded by Sarah Griffiths, a professional hairstylist who developed chemical sensitivities early in her career. Frustrated by the lack of fragrance-free, clean haircare that actually worked, she partnered with a lab and chemist to create Treo Organics.

Our launch includes two shampoo and conditioner lines Hydrating and Volumizing plus reusable pumps to reduce waste.

Yes! Every Treo Organics product is formulated with at least 70% certified organic ingredients, including organic aloe vera, jojoba oil, argan oil, rosehip oil, camellia seed oil, glycerin, rice protein, centella asiatica (gotu kola).

Why not 100% organic?
Creating high-performance haircare with 100% organic ingredients is extremely difficult with today’s ingredient technology especially when avoiding synthetic stabilizers and emulsifiers. We’re committed to transparency and performance, and as green chemistry improves, so will we.

Yes! All Treo products are color-safe. Our formulas are free from sulfates, harsh surfactants, and chemical irritants that can fade or strip color. They’re gentle enough for chemically treated, bleached, highlighted, or naturally colored hair. Plus, because we don’t use synthetic fragrance or essential oils, there’s no risk of hidden chemical interactions with color treatments.

Yes! All our products are 100% vegan free from any animal-derived ingredients. We are proud to be Leaping Bunny certified, which means we do not test on animals at any stage of product development.

Yes. Our bottles are made from infinitely recyclable aluminum, and paired with reusable pumps to minimize single-use plastic. Sustainability is core to everything we do.
