OUR STORY

Treo Organics was founded by Sarah and David Griffiths and is family-owned and operated.

After being a hairstylist for over two decades and in the industry for over three, Sarah developed a severe allergy to chemicals and scents, having severe reactions to the products used in salons, which nearly cut her career short.

Determined to stay in the industry she loved, Sarah started seeking healthier solutions. She opened Treo Organic Salon in 2017. Making the switch to organic products not only restored her well-being and that of her clients, but also sparked a deeper mission to help others avoid the same struggles.

In her search for effective fragrance-free, professional products, Sarah was disappointed to discover that many of the organic products on the market still used essential oils, causing issues for herself and her most scent-sensitive clients. While these products were better than the alternatives, many were still too fragrant.

She realized that the product she was seeking just simply did not exist.

There wasn’t a truly clean, professional-quality haircare line that was fragrance-free and sustainably-packaged on the market – yet – so Sarah set out to create one. With the support of her husband and daughter, Sarah brought her vision to life.
